How More Money Leads to More Leisure

Money influences leisure in a few ways.  Most notably, it buys us more free time to do what we really enjoy.

Most of us have hobbies that bring us pleasure, but when we have other demands on our lives, these are the first things to go by the wayside. We end up having far less time for our hobbies than we would like.

More money also opens doors for other activities we may have always wanted to do but couldn’t afford, including nicer or spur-of-the-moment vacations, and going out to eat more often or at finer restaurants —things most of us would love to do, but that are impossible in our current situation.

Doing the things we really enjoy make us happier, and doing them more often only increases the benefits.
