How More Romance Leads to Happiness

February 18th, 2008 by LivingorSurviving.com

For some, romance may not be as important as money, health, free time, or leisure.  However, it is usually important to your partner, and a relationship is a two-way street.  A happy partner can make you happy.

The key to a successful romantic life is communication — your partner will not know if anything is wrong unless you tell them.  Tell them what you like as well as what you don’t like.  If you’re always telling them what you don’t like, it becomes nagging and counter-productive.

A positive comment makes for positive people.  If you can’t think of anything your partner does that is romantic, remind them how important it is to you without lecturing.  Tell them it makes you happy and complement them when they do something romantic for you.

How More Romance Leads to More Free Time

February 18th, 2008 by LivingorSurviving.com

As discussed earlier, doing romantic things is a stress reliever.  When our stress level is lowered, we are better able to focus.  Since excess stress can tire you out quickly, romance permits us to focus better and have more energy, allowing us to be more efficient throughout the day.

Not only will you be able to finish your tasks faster, you will be less likely to procrastinate and get sidetracked while trying to complete them.  Procrastination is often due to exhaustion.  It is far easier to continue watching TV if you are tired than to get up and do the laundry, clean the house, or pay the bills.

When romance is important to us and we are satisfied with it in our relationship, we become more positive, which affects every part of our life.  When others complain about their love lives, you will be beaming inside.

How More Romance Leads to More Leisure

February 18th, 2008 by LivingorSurviving.com

For a lot of people, leisure activities involve their partner.  Spending time with him or her is fun and makes you relax.  Romance is a leisure activity in itself.  It helps us forget the craziness of the world around us.

Although romantic activities are leisure activities, you should still find some leisure on your own.  It is important to keep your own self-identity and your own interests and hobbies.

How More Romance Leads to Better Health

February 18th, 2008 by LivingorSurviving.com

Sex, just like cleaning the house, is a form of exercise.  If you have a healthy sex life and are having sex two or three times per week, you can really burn the calories.  Just like during exercise, the entire body is flushed with blood, helping to clear out harmful substances.  The exertion is good for your heart and some studies have shown you actually live longer when you have a  healthy sex life.

A healthy romantic life helps promote a healthy mental state and is a building block for happiness.  Romance is very important, and the absence of it can result in a depressed state for some people.  It helps fulfill our natural need to be wanted and needed, and helps make us more positive knowing we have someone who loves us and cares for us.  Being a more positive person will help in every aspect of our lives.

How More Romance Leads to More Money

February 18th, 2008 by LivingorSurviving.com

Providing we love our partner, more romance can only strengthen that relationship.  The stronger the relationship is, the more time we want to spend together and enjoy each other’s company.

When both of you are working, especially if you are on opposite shifts, it is difficult to find time to be together.  This is an incentive to make a change — to get a different job, a different shift, or to think of alternative ways to make money.  Home-based business opportunities are skyrocketing because the majority of people would rather work at home if possible.

This desire for change and to be together can propel your money-making ideas to success.  This is a chance to think about new sources of income.  The best sources are those that require little or no effort on your part.

Another thing that happens when you spend more romantic time together is that you want to keep the good times rolling.  You will want to think of new ways to keep the romance alive and hot.  This often involves more money if you want more nice dinners on the town or romantic vacations for two.

In order for these dreams to become a reality, you will realize you need more money and then have more of an incentive to increase your income by looking for a new job or finding additional sources of income.  The key here again is to find ones that interest you and won’t require a lot of your time once they are up and running.
