Interesting post! You have given some excellent pointers on how to make getting up early easier and more rewarding. I have also realized that it is important to keep ourselves awake till the point where we can consciously stay awake, and not lie down or laze around after we wake up. Early morning waking up regualarly also gives some excellent time for meditation in silence.

I just read this for the first time while stumbling, and for those of you who have trouble sleeping at night, here are a few tips.

1) Don't drink caffeine after 3pm
2) Don't exercise too late in the day
3) Don't be stressed out when you need to go to bed

Also, to wake up easier always try to go to bed within a certain amount of 90 minute increments before you want to wake up, because you sleep in 90 minute cycles and waking up at the end of a cycle is better than in the middle of one. (For example, if you want to wake up at 6am, try going to bed at 9pm, 10:30pm, or midnight
